Roald Dahl, known to children around the world for whimsical and slightly gross yarns, was assigned by the British government to drum up sympathy for England during WWII by seducing wealthy American women.  Maybe this book was the most autobiographical of all his fiction.

Concord Free Press

The mailman just brought IOU: New Writing on Moneymy book from Concord Free Press.  I heard about this organization on Morning Edition- they send you a free book, you agree to make a donation to a local organization and pass on the book when you're finished.  SEEDS was my cause but I haven't figured who to send the book to when I'm done.  Should it be you?
