French Muslims Find Haven in Catholic Schools

There's a somewhat similar pattern in many American cities, in which inner-city Catholic schools that are losing Catholic students as parish families migrate to the suburbs replace them with local non-Catholic kids. The school stays open and local students get a good education at a reasonable price- everyone compromises but ultimately benefits. I don't know if this will be an issue in France, but if housing and commuting costs start making American cities more attractive to families, it'll be interesting to see what happens if these schools' traditional constituents start returning.
