360 Rock

Ah, the long awaited guest-hosted-by-Alec-Baldwin episode of Studio 360! Not long awaited by you? Psh! Kurt Anderson probably isn't worried about getting his job back, but I enjoyed this episode a lot.  As heard in his stint as the narrator of the Royal Tenenbaums and the purveyor of Shweddy Balls, Baldwin has a voice made for radio.  His imitation of his parish priest on Long Island predictably tugged on my heart strings as does any sound of a New York accent these days, but that particular anecdote fell into a somewhat self-indulgent pattern that started to grate a little.  The whole point of psychoanalysis and confession is that they're private!  That aside, he managed to have an engaging and mellifluous conversation with the guests and I wouldn't mind if he dropped in again.
