NYT: Fart Jokes Not Remotely New

This entry in the Freakanomics blog on the Times site goes on to describe the Freudian theory of fart jokes and their appearance in 1900 B.C. Sumer. That may not sound particularly funny, but that headline could spur a generation of 10 year old boys and the 24 year old women who happen to share their sense of humor to become ancient historians.
